I would like to say today that I am grateful for the scholarship because it has given me the opportunity to meet new people and get a higher education. The scholarship really helped me on my traveling fees and some of the book and supply fees. I am glad that I was a recipient of this scholarship because this really empowered me to continue my education and really become something successful in life so that i can give back to my city and also give a higher image for my little cousins and little ones that look up to me. In conclusion, I'd like to thank your fraternity for investing in my future!
This scholarship was important to me because it allowed me to pay off my college tuition without trying to focus on balancing my education with the work life and that's super important because it allowed me to focus more on my education which has changed my life forever! Education is something that's so powerful that it has helped me learn more about not only my major but people, different environments and areas and i just think that is something that is so important. I am forever going to be grateful for education, it's such a powerful thing that has no boundaries in age, location, knowledge, or foundation and honestly as long as anyone is determined and patient enough to go through it, I think furthering their education would help them forever!
The importance of receiving this scholarship supports my goals in higher education which opens many doors. It means a lot to receive this scholarship because it's a contribution for me to achieve my goals such as obtaining a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and tuition is very expensive. This can be quite a burden for low-income students like myself to pay so I'm really grateful that i was selected to receive this scholarship, thank you.
I was blessed enough to receive a scholarship from Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and I just want to tell everyone how it really helped me continue to further my education. I was unable to buy books, but this scholarship allowed me to buy books and some of my course codes. Education is really important and I think it's great that the fraternity is doing this to allow students to further their education when some people can't afford to do that, so thank you so much.
